MITSUBISHI – Basic PLC Programming for GX Works2

Target Group: This course has been designed for new Mitsubishi users who wish to gain profound knowledge of the Mitsubishi systems and to develop PLC programs using the extensive and advanced functions of the GX Works 2 programming package.

(Pre) Knowledge: To join this course basic knowledge of programming similar PLC types and a knowledge of digital technology is advantageous. Knowledge of PC’s and MS-Windows is essential.

Global Contents: During this course an initial overview will be given of the various hardware components and their functional capabilities. Before starting with the software the basic IEC 61131-3 standard is explained. GX Works 2 is then explained using clear examples and short practice sessions. Detailed instructions, programming methods, handy tools and tips follow to help the user properly structure, program and document the PLC program for successful implementation and maintenance.

Training Methods: TDS courses are given by highly qualified trainers, with practical knowledge or On-Site. Prior to the course an intake conversation can take place to define the participant(s) and the company’s requirements. Presentations (theory and examples) as well as practical exercises bring the courses to life. TDS courses are interactive, the trainer will always make sure the training contents link back to your situation.
